Elmo and Friends Hit Detroit

DETROIT, MICHIGAN FEBRUARY 18,  2006

Sesame Street's lead puppet Elmo brought his traveling show to Detroit's Fox Theater this week and he thrilled thousands of Michigan kids.  Joining the fun were cousins Abby and Caroline Dooley, escorted by their Moms.

The show was a big hit and the girls were on their best behavior the whole show, basically mesmerized from the time the curtain rose until encores concluded.  Reviews indicate that Elmo's performance stole the show.  Here's a few photos from the show:

Jess gives the girls a few pre-show instructions such as a little warning about all the lights going off.	The site of Big Bird is always a thrill, and Bird did not disappoint.	Cookie Monster doing a solo number for the kids.  The letter of the day was F....for Fun!	More!  Shouted the girls as they gave the Sesame Street crew a wild ovation.
