NOVEMBER 3, 2001  EAST LANSING, MI

A wild finish to a perfect day as T.J. Duckett caught a pass from Jeff Smoker with one second left to lift State over the Blue at the annual in state rivalry. 

 

A final drive riddled with flags, refs, complaints, confusion and controversy left at least one fan to declare "This game is out of control!".  

Maybe so, but nothing can change the 26-24 score as MSU moved to 4-5 in Dooley Brother's games.

   

Even the refs, the bitter M fans, and the low-flying jet could not take away from a great day.  Thanks to all those who made it o
